The Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency and Minister for Foreign Affairs, under President John Dramani Mahama, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has once again demonstrated his deep commitment to community welfare by hosting a grand Annual Christmas Party for children in Juapong.

This year’s edition, described as bigger, better and more exciting, brought together over 6,000 children, who were treated to an unforgettable Christmas experience filled with joy, entertainment and goodwill.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Ablakwa expressed gratitude for the opportunity to put smiles on the faces of children in the constituency, noting that the annual celebration has become a symbol of love, care and shared responsibility.

Beyond the festivities, the North Tongu MP also announced the award of 50 tertiary scholarships to support students returning to school in January 2026, easing the financial burden on families and reinforcing his long-standing focus on education and human capital development.

Hon. Ablakwa extended heartfelt appreciation to his wife, friends, and the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu for their unwavering and consistent support, which he described as instrumental in the success of the programme.

The event once again highlighted Hon. Ablakwa’s people-centred leadership style, blending celebration with meaningful social intervention, and strengthening his bond with constituents across North Tongu.
