Tetteh Wayo Augustine, popularly known as DJ Ricky Augustine, was born in Juapong in the Volta Region of Ghana. He discovered his passion for music and graphic designing at an early age and pursued his education at Peki Senior High School, where he studied Visual Arts. He later advanced his studies in Broadcast Journalism at Africa Radio and TV College in Nungua.

With a dynamic career spanning various aspects of DJing, DJ Ricky Augustine has built a strong reputation as a Radio DJ, Mixtape DJ, Pub DJ, Artist DJ, and Event DJ. His exceptional talent has earned him multiple award nominations and accolades, including:
• Best Pub DJ Nominee – Ghana DJ Awards (2016)
• Best DJ (Volta Region) Winner – (2018)
• Best Mixtape DJ Nominee – Ghana DJ Awards (2021)

Beyond his work as a DJ, he has been involved in several notable mixtape projects, including Afrobeat Stream, Afrobeat Evolution, Exclusive Rundown, Hangout Jam Activ, and his latest project, Blindspot.

He is also the CEO of Set300 Sound Solution, a sound services company based in Accra. Currently, he is making waves at Mad Sky, East Legon, where he continues to entertain audiences with his exceptional music selection and mixing skills.
